Let’s go! BROKE BLUE MOON is set to rise and rock The Navy Club, 64 High St, Fremantle Friday, Nov 8th.

$10 on the door - all proceed to the Navy Club.

BROKE BLUE MOON grinds out gnarly slacker Swamp Blues with a big band groove and growl, steeped in a fricassee of unholy originals.

Just take the juke-joint boogie of Junior Kimbrough and RL Burnside and slow-cook it in a spicy stock of Muddy Waters and Lightnin’ Hopkins - one taste is guaranteed to get your mojo risin’!

BROKE BLUE MOON features a line-up of some of Fremantle’s finest:

Dickon Oxenburgh’s voice has got more bite than a double-shot of Screamin’ Jay Hawkins

Martyn P Casey (The Triffids, Nick Cave and the Bad Seeds) Marty loves having some fun with Broke Blue Moon his ‘street’ band

Richard Lane (The Stems/The Painkillers) Richard drives the groove that will keep you dancing

Shaun Hoffmann (Beautiful Losers, Steve Kilbey band) Big boss in the engine-room

Jeremy Fitzpatrick (Lucky Numbers) Rasputin rhythms from the king of cool

Alan Holbrook (The Durongs / Racoo / Salary) Golden tones from one of the Fremantle masters

Mike Jeffrey Baroque boogie from a true patriot

There’s a new full animated film clip and radio edit single of the album's iconic track  "Anything You Recognise", a brand new covers bootleg album Bipolar Request and a rocking new band lineup featuring alt-country songstress Brooke Russell and bass maestro Ben Franz (on sabbatical from the Waifs) along side long time cohorts Dave Folley (Tex Perkins, Archie Roach) and Squeezebox Wally.

Special guest for most of the shows will be fast rising Adelaide singer songwriter Alana Jagt.
